A very rich and creamy sauce to serve over noodles.  We also like it over steamed cauliflower.

  • ¾ Stick Butter
  • 4 Cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 Cups Half and Half
  • 1 Tbs Sour Cream
  • ¼ Tsp White Pepper
  • 1 Pinch Onion Powder
  • ½ Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • ¾ Cup Mozzarella Cheese


  1. Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium/low heat. Add the garlic, Half and Half, sour cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer. Stir often. Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth. When sauce has thickened, add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY! While the sauce cooks, boil noodles for 3-5 minutes. Place pasta on serving plates and spoon sauce over pasta.

Recipe Notes

Variation: Sauté Some fresh spinach in olive oil, instead of adding garlic to the sauce, sauté it with the spinach. Then add some sun-dried tomatoes and heat through. Add this either to the noodles or sauce before serving.
